Layla runs off ahead of Alex, straight into the tall grass. Delta runs after her, tail swaying behind her. Upon stepping into the tall grass an Owten jumps out, attempting to attack her. Delta growls and jumps in it's way. Layla makes a noise and balls her hands into fist " Alright! Delta use Scratch on that Owten! "
Liara gently grabs Omi's hand and walks onto Route one with him. Shelly runs after them, making happy and excited noises.

Omi smiled as they walked together to Route 1. Basil and Jolt both followed behind them. They were both jumping around so happy to be going out of Town.

Liara steps into the tall grass with him, Skitty was sitting on her shoulder at this point. Liara yelps a an Owten leaps out of the grass and attempts to attack her.

Omi quickly sent out Basil and used Quick attack on the Owlten.

The Owten swiftly dodges, just barely escaping, and uses peck on Basil. Letting out it's signature cry.

Owten gets hit and tumbles backwards, letting out a loud noise as it lands awkwardly on it's back. Weakly it hops to it's feet and uses Leer on Basil.

"Really? Let me try" Omi said and grabbed a pokeball and threw it at the Owlten.

Owten is absorbed in a bright flash of energy and gets trapped in the pokeball, it doesn't even struggle and gets caught immediately.

"Oh! Now that sounds better" Omi said smiling he took out the Owlten out of the pokeball and held the fainted pokemon.
