.:Blooming buds covered in mountain dew exude hope for the future in this small town:.
You wake up in your hometown and are greeted to the sound of your mother calling you downstairs. Today was the start of your very own Pokémon journey. Running downstairs you find your mother with a broad smile on her face. She tells you the professor was looking for you. You walk outside and start to head to the pokemon lab in town and find Professor Liome standing inside. Apparently he had been waiting for you to come along. Walking over Professor Liome greets you before telling you he has a gift for you but before you are allowed to get your gift you have to answer some questions....
"Welcome to the world of Pokémon! I am Liome Alteri, the Venzor region's very own Pokémon Professor. This world of ours is widely inhabited by creatures known as Pokémon! These mysterious creatures can be found in every corner of our world... some run across the plains, others fly through the skies, and others yet swim in deep oceans... we live together with these Pokémon, lending our strength to one another to live and prosper. Now let's get started with some quick questions... Are you a boy? Or are you a girl?"
You tell him your gender, guessing he must be blind to now be able to tell what sex you are.
Smiling, Liome hums "Oho, I see. Would you tell me your name?"
"So it's (insert name), then? Did I get that right?" You nod your head, earning this response from him "...Fantastico! What a lovely name!" With that he holds three pokeballs out to you and says " Each one of these pokeball's contains a pokemon. Charmander, the fire type. Squirtle, the water type. And Bulbasaur, the grass type. " You happily choose your starter.
"(insert name)! Your adventure begins now! You are about to enter the beautiful Venzor region! Go and meet many Pokémon and people, and fill your life with rich experiences! Now let's go visit the world of Pokémon!" He then sends you on your way.

Liara just sits down inside the Professor's office and decides to wait there. Liome was getting some pokeballs lined up on a table and such. She wondered what that was about. Sighing she gently pets Primrose, earning quiet purrs from the pokemon.
Omi saw Liara waiting for him. A smile came to his face as he ran over to her. "Liara! Sorry I'm late." Omi said heavily breathing. His eevee rubbed up next to Omi once they stopped.

Liara smiles at him " Hey it's alright, I understand. Professor Liome was just keeping me company. Liome pokes his head in the room " Hey, come and see. I've got something I want to show you both. "

Omi nodded. He walked beside Liara. He couldn't wait to get a pokemon from Professor Liome.

Liome looks at them once they make it to the same room he is in and smiles, giving them the usual introduction and such before he introduces them to the three starters " Now I know you both already have a pokemon but I would like to give you both another one. This is Charmander, a Fire Type. This is Squirtle, a Water Type. And this is Bulbasaur, a Grass Type. I'll give you time to think it over. " Liome hums, looking at all the pokemon. They were all so adorable. Squirtle seemed to stand out to her though.

Omi looked at the Bulbasaur. He couldn't help to draw more towards the Bulbasaur then any of the other ones. He couldn't wait to get it.

Liara chooses Squirtle and names it Shelly, it was kinda punny but she liked it. Liome hands her Squirtle's pokeball before looking at Omi " I assume you've chosen as well? "

Liome smiles and lightly tosses him the pokeball " Take good care of them. Now I want you to go meet many People and Pokemon alike, and fill your life with rich experiences! Off you go. " Liara smiles and walks outside with Primrose and Shelly bounding after her.

Omi smiled as he handed him the pokeball. He opened it and Basil popped out. Basil smiled wide seeing Omi. Omi let out a small laugh. He started to follow Liara. Basil and his Eevee, Jolt.

Omi smiled. "I've been waiting for this day for awhile" Omi said and moved the hair out of her face smiling. He couldn't wait to do this journey with Liara. This was a dream come true to him
