.:Blooming buds covered in mountain dew exude hope for the future in this small town:.
You wake up in your hometown and are greeted to the sound of your mother calling you downstairs. Today was the start of your very own Pokémon journey. Running downstairs you find your mother with a broad smile on her face. She tells you the professor was looking for you. You walk outside and start to head to the pokemon lab in town and find Professor Liome standing inside. Apparently he had been waiting for you to come along. Walking over Professor Liome greets you before telling you he has a gift for you but before you are allowed to get your gift you have to answer some questions....
"Welcome to the world of Pokémon! I am Liome Alteri, the Venzor region's very own Pokémon Professor. This world of ours is widely inhabited by creatures known as Pokémon! These mysterious creatures can be found in every corner of our world... some run across the plains, others fly through the skies, and others yet swim in deep oceans... we live together with these Pokémon, lending our strength to one another to live and prosper. Now let's get started with some quick questions... Are you a boy? Or are you a girl?"
You tell him your gender, guessing he must be blind to now be able to tell what sex you are.
Liome nods promtly and squints at you "And what do you look like?"
You describe your appearance, noticing that he is squinting to see you.
Smiling, Liome hums "Oho, I see. Would you tell me your name?"
"So it's (insert name), then? Did I get that right?" You nod your head, earning this response from him "...Fantastico! What a lovely name!" With that he holds three pokeballs out to you and says " Each one of these pokeball's contains a pokemon. Charmander, the fire type. Squirtle, the water type. And Bulbasaur, the grass type. " You happily choose your starter.
"(insert name)! Your adventure begins now! You are about to enter the beautiful Venzor region! Go and meet many Pokémon and people, and fill your life with rich experiences! Now let's go visit the world of Pokémon!" He then sends you on your way.

Alex had decided on the trusty water type Pokemon, Squirtle. He was excited to finally go on his adventure throughout Venzor. He was hoping to beat the Elite Four and become the champion. That wouldn't be for awhile though, I mean, he had just gotten his starting Pokemon. He walked out of the lab and looked around. His hometown, he had to leave it. But he had to say goodbye to his parents! His mother was the only one there, after saying farewell and asking her to tell his father that he'll come and visit, he leaves. He took one last look around the hometown, smiling. "I'll remember this place."
GHOST says...

Layla runs out of the lab, holding the pokeball of Charmander. She always had a liking for the fire type so she was glad she could finally get it. She saw Alex leaving his house, he must have just said goodbye. She would say goodbye to her parent's but neither one of them were home. She runs over to Alex " Hey neighbor! "
He looks at Layla and smiles, some of the his hair sitting on his face. "Heya! Looks like you got a Pokemon there." He eyes the pokeball that held Charmander. "What starter did you choose, if you don't mind me asking?" Alex is a talkative boy, oh yes he is.

Layla just grins " Charmander, what about you? " She held the pokeball in hand, some of her black hair falling in her face. She was really talkative and energetic so there was no stopping her sometimes.

"Oh!" He thought that she may have had Bulbasaur- He shrugged it off an replied. "I chose Squirtle!" He held out the Pokeball that contained the water type turtle within it. "I thought a water type would be cool to have! Plus, I heard from some earlier trainers what they evolve into." He whispered the last part- He was actually being honest, by someone, he meant his brother, Tyler. He had some level 100 Pokemon and some lower, but he didn't want the role of being champion.

He whispered the last part- He was actually being honest, by someone, he meant his brother, Tyler. He had some level 100 Pokemon and some lower, but he didn't want the role of being champion.
Layla hums " Awesome! Hey, we both have pokemon now! " With a massive grin she point at him " I challenge you to a battle!! "

He smiled. "I accept your challenge!" He throws the ball on the ground, energy escaped the ball, a Squirtle appearing after the energy left. It let out it's signature cry. Alex was ready for this- ever since he got his Squirtle. He thought that his first battle was just going to be a wild Pokemon, but instead, he gets to battle another trainer!

He smiled. "I accept your challenge!" He throws the ball on the ground, energy escaped the ball, a Squirtle appearing after the energy left. It let out it's signature cry. Alex was ready for this- ever since he got his Squirtle. He thought that his first battle was just going to be a wild Pokemon, but instead, he gets to battle another trainer!
Layla throws her pokeball on the ground, a bright flash of energy releasing Charmander from it's confinement. Charmander let's out it's signature cry before getting in a battle ready position. Layla grins and gives a command, pointing at Squirtle " Delta use Scratch! "

When Squirtle is hit, he moves back slightly. It did some amount of damage. Squirtle let out another cry as Alex called out to it. "Shellshock! Use Tackle!" He points at Charmander. Squirtle moves forward at a rapid pace, hitting the Charmander with the move it had been told to. Tackle.

Delta makes a sound and goes tumbling backwards as Shellshock tackles it. Making a sound it weakly gets up. Layla looks at it " Delta hang in there! Use Scratch once more! " Delta runs forward and attempts to scratch Shellshock

Shellshock moves out of the way, inches away from being hit. It, even without being told to, uses tackle again. Alex is confused why Shellshock attacked Delta without being told. He shook at off, smiling. "Go on Shellshock! You can do it!"

Delta goes rolling through the dirt and faints, laying there while making a noise " Charr... " Layla returns Delta to her pokeball " Good job Delta! Take a nice long rest! " After returning her to the pokeball she looks at Alex " I can't believe I lost! But no biggy! I'll train extra hard to get stronger than you! " Grinning she points at him " From this day on we're rivals got it? "

He nodded, grabbing the ball and returning Shellshock. He turned into a light-blue energy, going into the ball before it closes. He hands the ball over. "Here!" He smiles. He was actually very happy that he won the battle. "Hey neigbhour! Before you go, what's your name? I'm Alex."

Liome quickly heals Alex's pokemon before handing it back to Alex. Once done he walks back to the lab. Layla looks at Alex as she lets Delta out of her pokeball " Oh I'm Layla! It's a pleasure meeting you Alex. "

He releases Shellshock from the ball. He began to walk towards route 1, Shellshock close behind. "I guess we'll be going to the first Route..."
Liara walks out of her house with her Skitty, Primrose. She did love her Skitty. Looking around she tries to spot Omi, they had planned to depart on their journey together today. Omi was 19 though, he could easily have left earlier but she assumed he wanted to wait for her to get to the appropriate age to leave on a journey. She decides to check the professor's lab.

Omi ran out of his house to meet Liara. He was running late. His eevee followed behind him. He looked around for Liara as he ran he decided to run to the professor to see if she was there.

Liara just sits down inside the Professor's office and decides to wait there. Liome was getting some pokeballs lined up on a table and such. She wondered what that was about. Sighing she gently pets Primrose, earning quiet purrs from the pokemon.
